Irish Crosses

The Crosses are used as a design format ~ column, circle, cross

They are not about religion. Each work tells about an event in Irish History. The point of view is that of a student of that History. Or it might be a memorial about the impact of events on the Irish People. Or some times as a reaction to a moment during my visit to Ireland. Or seeing the Crosses in the landscape knowing how long the Crosses have been there. Thinking about what has happened at this place in all the hundreds of years. Or it might be an abstraction on the forms of the Cross to suggest new meanings of this symbol.
