Myths, Stories and Spirits
The drawings are related first by the fact that they are created by simple lines as gestures on the page. No plan, context or pre-conceived subject matter exists. The lines suggest forms, the imagination suggests theme. The themes are about what we cannot see, but what we feel and sense and translate in the mind.
The marks on the page evolve into a spirit which is in all living things. Spirit and spirits which are personified as female beings. The female is the vessel of all new life.
A positive force that forms all the joy of our continued existence and rebirth. These spirits are from our inner core ~ our spiritual DNA. This is not science, but energy from generations through the flow of time.
